Lexia (Log-On Via Clever) IF you are in the "Lexia Group" - you should be logged on for 30-45 minutes DAILY. Please make this a priority!
Daily Must Do - Journal Writing: Please continue journaling. I would like for you to write a diary entry each day that we're away. Remember to include the date, greeting, body, closing, and signature. This is probably a good wind down activity.
Benchmark Unit 10: States of Matter - Reflect on Unit Concepts We have been reading informational texts, poems, and stories about states of matter. Recall what you have learned by revisiting the FlipGrid you created 3 weeks ago. Respond to your original FlipGrid and answer the question, How can something old become new?
Writing - Letter To The Past On the first day of school, you wrote a letter to your future self. You will be able to read that letter when you pick up your belongings from school this week. You will be amazed at how much you've grown as a person and as a writer. This week, please reflect on the 2019-2020 school year. Then, write a letter to your past self. What do you wish you could tell your former self on the first day of 2nd Grade? What memories do you want to share? What did you learn? Were there activities that you liked or didn't like? Were there any surprises this year? Do your best to reflect and write a thoughtful letter. Be ready to share your letter to your past self on the last day of school.
